Lillian A. Davidson Lillian A. Davidson, 92, a resident of Geneseo Good Samaritan Village, formerly of Moline, died Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at Hammond-Henry Hospital, Geneseo, Illinois. Funeral services will be at
10:00 am on Saturday, August 7, 2010 at Vandemore Funeral Home Ltd,
Geneseo, Illinois. Rev. Janet Lepp will officiate. Burial will be in
the Chippiannock Cemetery, Rock Island. Visitation for Lillian will
be 1 hour prior to services at the funeral home. Memorials may be
directed to Geneseo Good Samaritan Village or
St. James Lutheran Church, Rock
Island, Illinois. |

Lillian was born on April 4,
1918 in Rock Island, the daughter of Arthur and Lydia (Weaverling)
Staubach. She was united in marriage to Earl Davidson on June 23,
1935 in Aledo; he preceded her in death in November 30, 1995.
Lillian was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Rock Island. She
loved flowers and her dogs. Survivors include a daughter and
son-in-law Jane & Roger Kent, Orion, Illinois; a son and
daughter-in-law Robert E. & Dorothy Davidson, Geneseo; five
grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and two great great
grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister and a brother,
Arthur. |
